Dr Mo Sacoor

Founder

Dr Mo Sacoor is a cardiologist who started life out at the world renowned Royal Brompton Hospital to become a serial entrepreneur with a track record of turning formative ideas into multi-million pound companies in quick succession. In addition to being a Medical Market Research specialist and an early developer of KOL software, Mo is the founder and driving force for a number of companies over the past 40 years from MMRI, Pharmaphorum and ID Medical, the latter growing to a £200m revenue company in only 10 years. He has now formed DrMoSacoor Digital, a group of technology ventures that is home to world leading technology innovations from Klood, Football Whispers, and Disease Spotlight amongst others.

Janet Gunner

Janet Gunner

Managing Director

Janet has worked extensively in the market research sector. She is a Certified Member of the Market Research Society and was a finalist in the MRS Awards 2013 for Healthcare Research in partnership with LEO Pharma and Trufflenet. Her experience in market research methodology design and influence development has been a fundamental driver in the partnership with Klood to develop MMRI’s in house technology – Klood Radar, which now sits at the heart of MMRI’s research offering.

Ellie Osborne

Head of Research

Ellie is a researcher with both quantitative and qualitative experience. As many people in the industry do, Ellie fell into market research as a career, working part time as a Research Executive for Leicester College while completing her university studies.

Ellie is passionate about listening to, understanding and sharing customer/public opinion. Getting the voice of the customer to the fore is a real focus of hers, making it integral in business decisions. Linking research understanding with marketing and strategic development is another key area of interest for to Ellie, having previously developed strategic growth plans based on market and customer insights.

Jayne Jakubait

Jayne Jakubait

Research Analyst

Jayne has enjoyed a wide and varied career to date, from underwriting to customer service, and spent 16 years at digital agency, Wunderman. Whilst the majority of her career has revolved around face to face engagement, Jayne’s knowledge and experience is invaluable when identifying and analysing spontaneous online commentary for research projects.
Jayne is a real “people” person and enjoys socialising, walking her dogs and staying in her caravan on the South coast.

Lynne Alden

Lynne Alden

Group Financial Controller

Lynne qualified as a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accounts and subsequently gained Fellowship.  She has gained a wide breadth of experience in finance, treasury, taxation and accounting and is proficient in spread sheet modelling and accounting systems. Lynne worked for Kleinwort Benson Ltd merchant banking group and transferred across to BAE Systems in 1999 as Assistant Director, Finance heading up the finance teams involved in cross border leasing and finance transactions. She subsequently worked within the Financial Services sector before joining the ID Medical and MMRI group of companies in October 2004. Lynne also undertakes several Financial Directorship and Company Secretarial posts within entrepreneurial companies and oversees the financial reporting of a Property Investment Partnership.

Paul Bannister

Paul Bannister

Group Project Accountant

Paul holds a BA (Hons) in Financial Economics and first worked for MMRI nearly 20 years ago where he also spent time in New York working for a sister company of MMRI, the ID Group (US) Inc. and its subsidiaries. He was sent over to the US for just 2 weeks, and eventually came back 5 years later! Now that Paul has returned to the UK he works across the Group as Project Accountant.
Paul loves his car (a Mini Cooper S) and also has a passion for science. Having commenced his studies for a BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences with the Open University, he is converting to a BSc (Hons) in Astrophysics this year.

Sasha Bakkal

Sasha Bakkal

Assistant Accountant

With over 15 years of international financial experience working for large corporations such as SAB Miller brewery and Balfour Beatty construction company, Sasha looks after the MMRI’s management accounts. Sasha holds a BA in Economics and is just completing her CIMA accountancy qualification.
Sasha enjoys theatre, art & craft and sport activities with her 2 young children.

Vilius Jakaitis

Information Systems Data Manager

Vilius first met MMRI when taking part in a work placement project whilst completing his his MSc in Information Systems at the University of Sheffield. Having enjoyed the creative and laid-back atmosphere, after his graduation, Vilius joined MMRI as our resident Information Systems Data Manager, crafting, managing and co-ordinating various online data analysis methodologies for research projects.
Vilius is actively involved in the snooker scene and was the former IT guru and manager for the Lithuanian organisation responsible for snooker nationwide… alas, with no championship titles to his name!
